Society of St Vincent de Paul (SSVP)

The Society of St Vincent de Paul (SSVP) is part of the global Vincentian family, an international Catholic lay organisation dedicated to follow Christ through service to those in need and so bear witness to His compassionate and liberating love. Our members serve the poor cheerfully, listening to them and respecting their wishes, helping them to feel and recover their own dignity. In the poor and marginalised, we see the suffering Christ.

Through church donations, we assist about 120 Friends-In-Need (FINs), many of whom are elderly, sick and/or physically challenged staying in one-room rental flats at Redhill Close. We visit and support them by providing monthly cash rations, living necessities, and most importantly our friendship.

Every month, we distribute food and sundries to migrant workers at Little India. We also run a Kids Project programme with the Ahuva Good Shepherd Home, where we organize activities for girls from troubled homes and families that may be struggling to look after them.

If you feel drawn to serve the poor and live your faith, come, join us! To find out how you can participate, donate or help in any way, contact us.
