Beneficiaries

This year, the Church of St Ignatius will be donating nett proceeds from the Fiesta to two Catholic charities, Jesuit Refugee Service and to Kingsmead Hall.

Jesuit Refugee Service

Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) Singapore will use the donations to fund their Singapore-based programmes and operations only. This includes programmes for migrant workers and asylum seekers in Singapore. Please visit https://jrssg.org/  for more information or to donate to their causes.

"Rebuilding Kingsmead" Project

“ReBuilding Kingsmead” is a project by the Society of Jesus to redevelop Kingsmead Hall. The building has been the centre of Jesuit presence and activities from when the Irish Jesuits arrived in Singapore in the 1950s. Built as a hostel then, it now houses the priests' quarters, the Jesuit Retreat and Counselling Centre and is the Jesuit regional headquarters. Kingsmead Hall turns 70 in November 2024 and with most of it still in its original state, repairs and upgrades are required to enable the current and future needs of St Ignatius parish, the archdiocese and the greater Catholic community to be better served. Please visit https://mas-jesuits.org/rebuilding-kingsmead/ for more information and to contribute to the project.
