Dear Parishioners of St Ignatius,

In view of the stricter safety measures imposed by the COVID-19 multi-ministry taskforce, our Church will be implementing the following updated measures effective 16 May 2021.

1) Reducing of group size from 5 to 2 people. With ONE Meter safe distancing.

2) Reduced capacity for Mass to 50 pax for ALL weekend and weekday Masses.
In view of this reduced congregational size for Masses, all previous Mass bookings made prior to 16 May will be voided. Masses on Saturday, 15 May will carry on. However, there will be NO in-person Masses for this Sunday (16 May)
No action is required on the part of parishioners for this cancellation. If you are unsure, you may check your existing bookings under the myBookings tab in

3) Mass Re-booking exercise
All parishioners will also be required to re-book Masses for the period of 17- 31 May. The Mass re-booking exercise for our Parish will be held on Sunday, 16 May, at 3 pm via Stage 4 May Mass bookings date remains unchanged on 18 May.
In order to ensure that as many parishioners are able to attend at least one Mass a month, we ask that you do not book more than one weekend and one weekday Mass for this re-booking exercise.

4) Weddings
• Without Pre-event Testing (PET): Capped at a maximum of 50 pax
With PET (for all guests, including the couple): Capped at a maximum of 100 pax
Please note that all attendees, including the couple are to be masked up at ALL times.

5) Funerals – capped to 20 pax on the day of the funeral. All Columbarium visits are cancelled until further notice.

6) Compulsory use of TraceTogether App or Token
From 17 May onwards, Parishioners can ONLY use the TraceTogether App or Token to perform SafeEntry check-ins. If the Token has run out of battery, they must be renewed before June 1, as all those without a working Token or TT app will be denied entry to the Church Hall.
Please continue to bring your NRIC/Work Permit to verify your Mass bookings.

7) Religious Activities
All religious activities (including Infant Baptism & Confessions), face-to-face meetings and events are to be suspended/postponed or moved online until further notice.

All these measures, while seemingly harsh, are to protect the safety of our parishioners, volunteers, staff and priests. SAFETY is the key focus at this time, given the possibility of us lapsing into another major outbreak and circuit breaker. Our Church will do our part to safeguard our people and community, while continuing to offer everyone the opportunity to celebrate Mass and sacraments. We seek your understanding and ask for your continued prayers.

Thank you & God Bless
Fr Colin and the Safe Management Committee.
