Auto Cancellation of Mass bookings

Dear Sisters and Brothers-in-Christ,

In light of the reversion to Phase 2 HA due to the increasing numbers of community cases, congregational size for Vaccinated/PET Only Masses are now limited to 100 pax. Due to this limitation, parishioners may have their bookings affected.

Affected Mass Bookings
1. Sunday, 25 July, 12.15pm: Parishioners with booking #101 and above will have their bookings automatically cancelled.

2. Saturday, 31 July, 6.00pm (Feast Day Mass): Parishioners with booking #71 and above will have their bookings automatically cancelled.

This auto-cancellation will be effected by 23 July, Friday, 12 noon. No action is required on the part of parishioners for this cancellation. For parishioners whose bookings are auto-cancelled, emails will be sent to them. Parishioners are advised to countercheck their Mass bookings via the mybooking tab in myCatholic.sg.

Lastly, the MCCY strongly advises all who are not vaccinated, especially the elderly, to stay home as much as possible over the next few weeks and not attend any in-person religious activities during this period.

REQUIREMENTS FOR MASSES ABOVE 50 PAX
All attendees of these Masses must either be a) fully vaccinated or b) have undergone approved pre-event testing (PET)

a) Vaccinations are considered valid 14 days after you have taken your 2nd dose (only Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are permitted). You will have to show a proof of your vaccination via the TraceTogether App or token.

b) PETs to be done at your own cost and in your own time. Under MOH guidelines, accepted PETs are the approved Covid-19 Antigen Rapid Test (ART) or the Polymerase Chain Reaction Test (PCR) administered by an approved test provider. Self-test Kits will NOT be accepted. Do note that test results are only valid for 24 hours from the time of testing. Parishioners are to ensure that the result of the test is valid until the end of the Mass that he/she is attending.

Entry will be denied if you fail to produce the relevant test results or proof of vaccination.

From June 2021, all bookings in MARS will also come with a booking number
 for example “025”. This booking number will be indicated on the
myBooking page of the parishioner’s myCatholic.sg account. For example, if the number “025” is shown, it means that you are the 25th person who has booked for that particular Mass in your parish.

These numbers will enable the Digital Church Office to better track attendees in the event that there is a sudden need to reduce the numbers. With the introduction of the booking number, it will reduce the need for a Mass re-booking exercise should the number of Mass attendees be reduced, to be in keeping with the prevailing Covid-19 safety measures set by the Multi-Ministry Taskforce and MCCY.

In order to ensure that as many parishioners are able to attend at least one Mass a month, we ask that you do not book more than one weekend and one weekday Mass in the first round of bookings. 


Compulsory use of TraceTogether

In line with the government's regulations, our parish will adopt the ‘TraceTogether-only SafeEntry’ (TTSE) system by 17 May, 2021. Parishioners will ONLY be able to do your SafeEntry Check-In using the TraceTogether App or Token.

SafeEntry Gateway
With effect from 19 April 2021, our Parish has also deployed the SafeEntry Gateway devices as an additional check-in mode for all Masses. SafeEntry Gateway is a contactless means of checking in, and will be carried out at the registration desks. 


Please continue to bring your NRIC/Work Permit for our volunteers to verify your Mass booking before you are admitted to the Church Hall.

FAQ
1. Can I do the SafeEntry Check-In multiple people using the TraceTogether App?
Yes. Register in the app > click on ‘Group’ > ‘Add Family Members’ > follow the on-screen instructions.
Note: You cannot check-in multiple people using the tokenonly the App.

2. Must I use BOTH TraceTogether App and Token?
No, you will only need to use one of the two.

3. Can I use the TraceTogether App for my usual SafeEntry Check-In elsewhere?
Yes. There will soon be a nationwide transition to 'TraceTogether-only' SafeEntry Check-In QR Codes. After which, the SingPass QR Code reader and your phone’s native QR code reader will no longer be able to scan new 'TraceTogether-only SafeEntry' Check-In QR Codes.

4. When can I start using my TraceTogether App or Token?
If you already have the TraceTogether App or Token, you may start using it for your SafeEntry Check-In when arriving for Mass.

5. Do I still need to bring my NRIC along when I attend Mass?
Yes. The SafeEntry Check-In process is the government's contact tracing program. Whereas, our volunteer's scan each person's NRIC/Work Permit to verify your Mass booking before admission into the Church Hall.

Weekday Masses
Morning Mass: Tuesday & Thursday, 7.30am
Evening Mass: Monday to Friday, 7.00pm.

Weekend Masses
Saturday : 4.30pm and 6.00pm

Sunday : 8.15am, 10.15am, 12.15pm, 4.30pm and 6.00pm.

Note:
The booking of Mass slots for the Church of St Ignatius opens every Tuesday at 3pm.
Each parishioner is allowed to book ONE weekend Mass and up to FIVE weekday Masses per person at each stage, subject to availability.

  • All Mass bookings are to be made through myCatholic.sg. After logging in to your account, parishioners may have to refresh/reload their web page to see the latest booking information.
  • Mass slots will remain available till they have been taken up or when the time for booking closes. The booking/cancellation cut-off time is 3hrs before that particular Mass starts. 
  • Please be gracious and only book for Masses that you are able to attend. A no-show for Masses that have been booked will be tracked in the system.

Please be reminded that car parking is available ONLY at the King’s Road Church basement car park.
