ONLINE REGISTRATION OPENS ON AUGUST 1 AND CLOSES ON AUGUST 31
1. Grade 1 to Grade 7 (Non- Sacramental classes)
You can register your child for CCD if your child is in Grades 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, & 7.
There is a fee of $30 per student to cover operational and administrative costs. Once you have registered your child online, please mail or drop off a cheque to the Church Office. The cheque should be made out to "Church of St Ignatius" with your child's full name, grade and a contact number written on the back of the cheque. Please note, we do not require a copy of the Baptism Certificate. As spaces are limited, students will only be assigned to classes once we have received your online registration & payment.
Books for Grade 1 to Grade 7 will be on sale on the first day of classes. Books cost $30 each for Grade 1 to Grade 6 and $35 each for Grade 7. Payment is by cash only.

2. First Holy Communion(FHC) & Special Holy Communion Classes (SHC)
First Holy Communion classes are for children in Grade 2 (7 years old by September 2017) and Special Holy Communion Classes are for older children in Grades 3- 7 (aged 8 to 12 years) who have not received their First Holy Communion.
If your child has been baptised in another Christian denomination, your child will have to attend a Rite of Reception into the Catholic Church first. Please click here download and complete the Rite of Reception Declaration form and submit it together with your registration.
There is a fee of $120 for First and Special Holy Communion Sacramental classes only and we require a copy of the Baptism Certificate. Only students with a completed registration will be assigned to classes. A completed registration includes:
- an on-line registration,
- a copy of the child's Catholic Baptism Certificate
- the $120 fee.
A copy of the acknowledgement of registration, the $120 fee and a copy of the Baptism Certificate have to be submitted to the Church office as directed on the Registration Form. Deadline for fee payment is Thursday, 31st August 2017. Books are included in the fee.
A reminder, children are required to be 7 years old by September 2017 and the only exceptions are children who have just completed Grade 1 CCD.

Other General Information
Attendance policy reminders
Please ensure your children come on time. Late-comers miss valuable teaching time and also disrupt the class for the other children. Please take note that if your child is in First Holy Communion Class and Confirmation Class, attendance is strictly monitored and enforced in order to ensure that the requirements set by the Diocese are met. Excessive absences may hinder your child's readiness to receive the sacrament at the end of the year. Your child’s commitment and success depends on you.
Dropping off and picking up your child
Drop-off: For all classes please do not drop off your child more than 10 minutes before the start of class because there will be no adult supervision prior to that. Children are to be dropped off in the Sacred Heart Canteen.
Pick-up: Children in Grades 1 & 2 should be collected promptly from their classroom at 5pm. Children in Grade 3 and above will wait for their pick-up in the covered area by Sacred Heart Hall. Please park your car and wait for your child in this holding area so as to prevent children entering the car-park unaccompanied.
After 5:10 pm: Your child will be taken to the Church office to wait for pick-up. Teachers and volunteers have to leave shortly after the end of class. At the beginning of the year, please familiarise yourself with the location of the Church office and discuss the pick-up plan with your child in case you are late.
3. Confirmation Programme
Candidates should be 13 years old by September 2017 and must have completed the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Before you register your child, it is important that you read the Confirmation Registration Letter for details of the program.

Wednesday 31st August 2017 - CCD Confirmation Registration Closes
Monday 4th September 2017 - MANDATORY Orientation Meeting for Parents of Confirmation Classes Only (7.30pm -8.30pm St Ignatius Hall, 2nd Floor)
Sunday 10th September 2017 - Confirmation Payment and documents due - FINAL DEADLINE
- Deadline for submission of copies of Baptism & First Holy Communion Certificates & other relevant documents and Confirmation Programme Fee to Church Office.
- Only students with a completed registration will be assigned to classes.
- A completed registration includes an on-line registration, copies of Baptism & First Holy Communion Certificates & other relevant documents and Confirmation Program Fee of $300. We are a Post-Confirmation group of high school students who wish to remain active in the Church community and connected with their CCD friends, ACATS mentors the Confirmation class of 60+ candidates as well as meets for fellowship and spiritual formation.
